  5. Now, Tap on Cancel.
    (Note that if you don't see a "Cancel Subscription" button for PlantIn: Plant Identifier, then it's definitely canceled already. It won't be renewed anymore).




How to Cancel PlantIn: Plant Identifier Subscription on your Android device

To cancel PlantIn subscription on Android, you need to realize that deleting the PlantIn app alone won't cut it. Follow the steps below:

  1. First, open the Google Play Store. If you have multiple Google accounts, be sure you're signed into the right one.
  2. Click on menu, then go to "Subscriptions".
  3. Choose the PlantIn: Plant Identifier subscription you wish to cancel and tap on the "Cancel Subscription" option.
  4. Finish up as directed.

Once your PlantIn subscription has been removed from Google Play, your future subscriptions will be cancelled and won't be renewed anymore.



How do I remove my Card from PlantIn?

Removing card details from PlantIn if you subscribed directly is very tricky. Very few websites allow you to remove your card details. So you will have to make do with some few tricks before and after subscribing on websites in the future.

Before Signing up or Subscribing:

  1. Create an account on Justuseapp. signup here →
  2. Create upto 4 Virtual Debit Cards - this will act as a VPN for you bank account and prevent apps like PlantIn from billing you to eternity.
  3. Fund your Justuseapp Cards using your real card.

How to Cancel PlantIn: Plant Identifier Subscription on a Mac computer.

To cancel PlantIn subscription on your Mac, do the following:


  1. First open the Mac App Store, then click on your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Click on the "View Information" tab at the top of the window and sign in if asked to do so.
  3. Scroll down on the next page shown to you until you see the "Subscriptions" tab then click on "Manage".
  4. Click "Edit" beside the PlantIn: Plant Identifier app and then click on "Cancel Subscription".

Note: Always make sure to use the exact username and ID you used to set up the subscription to manage that subscription when necessary. This is sometimes different from the Apple ID or Android brand ID you have set up.

If you don't remember your password however, contact the App for help/to reset password.


How to Cancel PlantIn: Plant Identifier Subscription on Paypal.

To cancel your PlantIn subscription on PayPal, do the following:

  1. First log into your PayPal account at www.paypal.com .
  2. Click on the settings tab which is beside the logout option.
  3. Press "Payments" from the menu provided to you and click on "Manage Automatic Payments" in the Automatic Payments dashboard.
  4. You'll be shown a series of merchants' agreement you've transacted before. Click on "PlantIn: Plant Identifier" or "Vortemol Limited" to cancel.
  5. You will be shown a confirmation page. Click on the "Cancel Automatic Payments" tab to affirm that you want to stop making payments to PlantIn: Plant Identifier.
  6. Then click "Done" on the verification page to complete the unsubscription.




What to do if you subscribed directly on PlantIn's website?

Here's how to cancel your PlantIn subscription when billed through a payments provider that is not the Appstore, Playstore or Paypal.

Sometimes, you may start a subscription directly on a company's website without using an extra layer of security like Paypal or Apple. To unsubscribe, you might have to sign into PlantIn's website or directly reach out to their payments provider.

Generally, here are some steps you can take if you find yourself in that fix:

  1. Finding the company's information, then reach out to them directly: Get all PlantIn's contact details here

  2. Visit the website of PlantIn. Click to visit .

  3. Login to your account.

  4. In the menu section, look for any of the following: "Billing", "Subscription", "Payment", "Manage account", "Settings".

  5. Click the link, then follow the prompts to cancel your subscription.


How to delete PlantIn account

Delete PlantIn: Plant Identifier from iPhone.

To delete PlantIn from your iPhone, Follow these steps:

  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold PlantIn: Plant Identifier until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the PlantIn: Plant Identifier app from your phone.

Method 2:

Go to Settings and click on General then click on "iPhone Storage". You will then scroll down to see the list of all the apps installed on your iPhone. Tap on the app you want to uninstall and delete the app.

For iOS 11 and above:

Go into your Settings and click on "General" and then click on iPhone Storage. You will see the option "Offload Unused Apps". Right next to it is the "Enable" option. Click on the "Enable" option and this will offload the apps that you don't use.


Delete PlantIn: Plant Identifier from Android

  1. First open the Google Play app, then press the hamburger menu icon on the top left corner.
  2. After doing these, go to "My Apps and Games" option, then go to the "Installed" option.
  3. You'll see a list of all your installed apps on your phone.

  5. Also you can specifically search for the app you want to uninstall by searching for that app in the search bar then select and uninstall.

    I downloaded this app from App Store - no price was showing. Once the app downloaded it then asked me to select which subscription I wanted to purchase. I didn’t want to proceed with purchasing, so didn’t continue and Cancelled the subscription.
    I downloaded this app and never asked for Premium access to it, I just wanted to use the free version. But I see that I have been charged for the Premium access for $29.99.

    Can you please cancel this subscription as I don't need one and refund the amount deducted.

This app is a total scam and STEALS peoples money when they cancel during the free trial but the company still charges the individual.     This app is a scam. I have canceled my subscription TWICE and my credit card keeps being charged. I even received a cancellation email. When I went back to check it, guess what? It had been retracted from my account. It now shows no record of me having canceled and there is NO WAY to cancel again. Had to file a complaint with Apple. DO NOT USE.

Do NOT subscribe to this app. Like many other users here...I got an unauthorized charge for a year subscription, despite the fact that I cancelled my subscription before the end of the free 3 day trial. Have reported the charge in Play store. Will do whatever it takes to make sure that this fraudulent behaviour will not be a success :(

    THIS APP IS A SCAM OF ALL SCAMS. DO NOT TRY THE SUPPOSED FREE TRIAL BECAUSE EVEN IF YOU CANCEL BEFORE THE TRIAL PERIOD ENDS, THEY WILL CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT ANYWAY!!! THEY HAVE A LOT OF CONFUSING LANGUAGE IN THEIR POLICY AIMED AT MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO CANCEL AND IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A REFUND. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM PLANTIN!!

I download This app and when I saw there was going to be a charge after the free trial I did not want it anymore all I did was go on the first page of this app and it said thank you for your subscription and your purchase and then it automatically charged $200 to my account without any authorization at all saying that I subscribed to the premium subscription when I did not. I don’t even know how it is legal to do this I did not authorize anything I did not except anything I didn’t except any terms and conditions I didn’t even touch my screen and it just automatically signed me up this is a complete fraud! I don’t even know how it’s possible to be charged anything at all when I didn’t even press anything on my screen to agree to the charges! I have never ever had this happen with any app or anything on my iPhone like this. This is completely illegal! Not only that I went Everywhere to try and cancel it I went on the website I went on the app I went on my Apple subscriptions I went everywhere and it does not show up anywhere the only thing that shows up is on my bank account and that they charged me $200!     I was recently given an orchid. I have wanted this flower for a very long time. I really liked that. I was told how to care for it and I tried not to water it too often. And everything was in order, but then healthy buds began to fall off. I was very upset because I wanted the flower to bloom. I asked my friends for advice, but no one could help me. Nobody faced the same problem as me. Then I downloaded this application and I was told that it might be that the water I was using was too cold. Water for irrigation should be soft and at room temperature. It is true, I took water directly from the tap and did not monitor its temperature at all. I tried to defend the water and then the buds stopped falling off. I hope when new buds grow, I will not repeat this mistake. Thank you very much. I didn't know that this happens.

But something changed and I wanted to try to start my plant again. This time I was serious. I know the problem is that I keep forgetting to water so I downloaded this app for reminders. But then I decided to try out the care plan feature and loved it. It turns out that there are much more nuances than I thought, and simple watering is not enough even if you do not forget about it.     Amazing

    To be honest, I'm just a disgusting gardener and I don't even know how I ended up with a plant. I was just shopping at the supermarket and decided why not. After all, what can be difficult about that? But it turned out that there are a couple of nuances. My plant started to wilt. I thought that I would not care, but this fact really upset me.     I have a few plants, everything was fine with them until I left them to my friend to look after him while I went on vacation. After that, the plants began to feel bad, they began to fade, one of them turned yellow almost completely. I tried to look after them as before, but they did not bounce back, I did not know what to do and what happened to them. I tried to google what they got sick but found nothing.
