  1. First, open the settings app and tap on your name.
  2. Then, tap on the "Subscriptions" tab.
    (Note that you might not automatically see this tab. In that case, tap on iTunes & Appstore)
  3. Next, tap on your Apple ID. View Apple ID then sign in and scroll down to the "Subscriptions" button.
  4. Next, tap on Lucid (subscription) you want to review.
  5. Now, Tap on Cancel.
    (Note that if you don't see a "Cancel Subscription" button for Lucid: Learn Visually, then it's definitely canceled already. It won't be renewed anymore).

How to Cancel Lucid: Learn Visually Subscription on your Android device

To cancel Lucid subscription on Android, you need to realize that deleting the Lucid app alone won't cut it. Follow the steps below:

  1. First, open the Google Play Store. If you have multiple Google accounts, be sure you're signed into the right one.
  2. Click on menu, then go to "Subscriptions".
  3. Choose the Lucid: Learn Visually subscription you wish to cancel and tap on the "Cancel Subscription" option.
  4. Finish up as directed.

Once your Lucid subscription has been removed from Google Play, your future subscriptions will be cancelled and won't be renewed anymore.

How do I remove my Card from Lucid?

Removing card details from Lucid if you subscribed directly is very tricky. Very few websites allow you to remove your card details. So you will have to make do with some few tricks before and after subscribing on websites in the future.

Before Signing up or Subscribing:

  1. Create an account on Justuseapp. signup here →
  2. Create upto 4 Virtual Debit Cards - this will act as a VPN for you bank account and prevent apps like Lucid from billing you to eternity.
  3. Fund your Justuseapp Cards using your real card.

How to Cancel Lucid: Learn Visually Subscription on a Mac computer.

To cancel Lucid subscription on your Mac, do the following:

  1. First open the Mac App Store, then click on your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Click on the "View Information" tab at the top of the window and sign in if asked to do so.
  3. Scroll down on the next page shown to you until you see the "Subscriptions" tab then click on "Manage".
  4. Click "Edit" beside the Lucid: Learn Visually app and then click on "Cancel Subscription".

Note: Always make sure to use the exact username and ID you used to set up the subscription to manage that subscription when necessary. This is sometimes different from the Apple ID or Android brand ID you have set up.

If you don't remember your password however, contact the App for help/to reset password.

How to Cancel Lucid: Learn Visually Subscription on Paypal.

To cancel your Lucid subscription on PayPal, do the following:

  1. First log into your PayPal account at .
  2. Click on the settings tab which is beside the logout option.
  3. Press "Payments" from the menu provided to you and click on "Manage Automatic Payments" in the Automatic Payments dashboard.
  4. You'll be shown a series of merchants' agreement you've transacted before. Click on "Lucid: Learn Visually" or "Polywise, Inc." to cancel.
  5. You will be shown a confirmation page. Click on the "Cancel Automatic Payments" tab to affirm that you want to stop making payments to Lucid: Learn Visually.
  6. Then click "Done" on the verification page to complete the unsubscription.

What to do if you subscribed directly on Lucid's website?

Here's how to cancel your Lucid subscription when billed through a payments provider that is not the Appstore, Playstore or Paypal.

Sometimes, you may start a subscription directly on a company's website without using an extra layer of security like Paypal or Apple. To unsubscribe, you might have to sign into Lucid's website or directly reach out to their payments provider.

Generally, here are some steps you can take if you find yourself in that fix:

  1. Finding the company's information, then reach out to them directly: Get all Lucid's contact details here

  2. Visit the website of Lucid. Click to visit .

  3. Login to your account.

  4. In the menu section, look for any of the following: "Billing", "Subscription", "Payment", "Manage account", "Settings".

  5. Click the link, then follow the prompts to cancel your subscription.

How to delete Lucid account

To delete Lucid from your iPhone, Follow these steps:

  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold Lucid: Learn Visually until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the Lucid: Learn Visually app from your phone.

Method 2:

Go to Settings and click on General then click on "iPhone Storage". You will then scroll down to see the list of all the apps installed on your iPhone. Tap on the app you want to uninstall and delete the app.

For iOS 11 and above:

Go into your Settings and click on "General" and then click on iPhone Storage. You will see the option "Offload Unused Apps". Right next to it is the "Enable" option. Click on the "Enable" option and this will offload the apps that you don't use.

  1. First open the Google Play app, then press the hamburger menu icon on the top left corner.
  2. After doing these, go to "My Apps and Games" option, then go to the "Installed" option.
  3. You'll see a list of all your installed apps on your phone.

  5. Also you can specifically search for the app you want to uninstall by searching for that app in the search bar then select and uninstall.

    I cancelled the app exactly 1 week of trial subscription but upon doing so they already charged me with 1 Year subscription which i did not choose. I send email via Contact Us on their website and now awaiting for their response on the refund.

    I do not want to have this app for a year. I canceled it, but it charged my card. I am willing to pay for 1 month but not one year. Please cancel my subscription and refund my purchase. Thank you.

    When I signed up for the free trial I was notified that when my free trial was over that I would be notified so I could cancel it. I also was under the one month free trial I don’t know why it went to the one year. Long story short I didn’t want an annual charge. Am I able to get my money back I do not want this app any more

I was charged without my consent for the one-year subscription. I understand that the free trial made it clear that the card would be charged. However, ethical practice suggests that a reminder asking for that consent would be appropriate. Please refund me the subscription. I am a teacher, and I found the content to be far below where I personally am. I also cannot afford $100 and never intended a full subscription. If you do NOT refund, I will conclude that your company is not interested in ethics, is perfectly fine 'scamming' people for a product the do not want, and will never give you my attention again and will actively discourage others from doing so. This is my practice with all companies who hope to take my money despite my express lack of consent.

    Very Pleasantly Surprised

    I’m one of those “I never write a review” folks. Also, for years have rejected summary / idea distillation platforms out of hand because I had seen them dumb down critical information in ways that are not productive. Lucid, IMO, is a game changer in this regard. Thoughtful graphics and focus on discrete (but very clearly connected) ideas makes it a compelling way to both learn new ideas and also decide if you want to invest precious time in a book. The psychology of focusing on discrete information blocks is well known and the app creators/ product team / devs / everyone else involved has 100% killed it. Best App Store money I’ve spent in a very long time!

    Significant tech and support issues

    The app offers engaging and meaningful content in a unique and helpful way. However, my library disappeared after the last update and there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to request support or restore the purchases. If there is a fix for that the app is easily worth it. With no fix or access to previous titles it’s hard to justify the price point. Edit: seems to have been patched. Could still use a way to communicate.

    Great quality but needs more content

    I find the summaries and animations great, it really helps with the understanding. I've used other apps for summaries but this one is by far better. Definitely need more books which I think will be added as time passes but make sure not to sacrifice quality for quantity. I still believe it's too expensive for the amount of books that it's available but I believe you guys are on the right path.

    From a book reader, surprisingly good

    I read around a book every month or two, and have always been skeptical of services like cliff notes and even audio books. Stumbled on this app and was pleasantly surprised. While you won’t get the depth and detail of the full read, most ppl are unlikely to retain those details a month after reading anyways. This does a good job of conveying the points that you want to stick.

    Great App

    Don’t usually leave reviews but this is such a great app that I have to. But it’s not going to be some long drawn out review. It’s a great app. Yes it costs but I think those costs can be legitimized when you realize the functionality of the app and how effortlessly it operates. Anyway, the main reason I’m here is to hopefully provide a suggestion of allowing an option for a “night mode” as I like to read at night and the bright white display irritates my eyes. Thanks!
