We have made it super easy to cancel BBC Sounds subscription
at the root to avoid any and all mediums "BBC Media Applications Technologies Limited" (the developer) uses to bill you.
A few things to note and do before cancelling:
**Gotten from publicly available data and the appstores.
The BBC Sounds app offers two subscription tiers:
1. Free: The free version of the app allows users to access all BBC radio stations, listen to live radio, browse past and future station schedules, and download or stream podcasts, radio shows, and music. Users can also continue listening from where they left off on any device, get personalized recommendations, and use the sleep timer.
2. BBC Sounds+ The BBC Sounds+ subscription costs £3.99 per month and offers additional features such as ad-free listening, the ability to download unlimited episodes, and access to exclusive content. Users can also subscribe to BBC podcasts, music mixes, and shows, and see the latest episodes from their favorite programs and podcasts in one handy list. Additionally, users can send music tracks they like to Apple Music and Spotify.
Removing card details from BBC Sounds if you subscribed directly is very tricky. Very few websites allow you to remove your card details. So you will have to make do with some few tricks before and after subscribing on websites in the future.

2 years agoI cannot delete further episodes of half finished podcasts that are lined up waiting to be listened to on my Android Tablet despite closely following the instructions. It says go to My Sounds and you will see all the podcast that are waiting to be listened to and swipe to the left or click unsubscribe. When I go to My Sound page there is nothing listed there: no Latest, no Bookmark, no Subscribed, no list of half listened to podcasts, nothing at all! It just shows an empty page waiting for listener instructions. Why not just have a delete button next to the podcast waiting to be listened to, you know a, "Delete This Whole Series Now?" button? You click it and it asks you to confirm the command with "Yes or No" buttons. SIMPLE!
