I just love using the app. It’s so convenient.

My wife and I have been frequenting the Toms River NJ store for the last two years and the new location on Rt. 70 in Manchester NJ since it’s recent opening . Both location are under the ownership of the same fine fellow . The food , service and store maintenance has been excellent. We just downloaded the DQ app and look forward to a continuing rewarding relationship with this purveyor of great cold treats and now hot fan food. The Fogarty’s of Manchester NJ, US of A

The app would be cool if it had a certain warning on the coupon page. It already says to be careful because you only have 15 minutes, but there should be another warning that the store may not be able to accept it at this time. What’s really misleading is that you can set a certain store for the coupon, so as long as you’re not in Texas, you’re thinking “If I can set this particular store as the one to redeem it at, this store must be accepting them.” So when you’ve already clicked redeem in the line and find out they’re lacking equipment (what do they need for the qr? A phone or...?), it’s frustrating. One solution is to not do the 15 minute expiration thing. Instead have the store employee mark it as redeemed, like Groupon does, or have it automatically redeem when the coupon is used (probably more work to implement, I understand) Another solution is to have an employee login to the app or an online interface where the store can register itself as coupon ready; that way, if the person tries to choose the store location to use with the coupon, an error message could come up informing them that this store is not accepting coupons yet but will be soon, stay tuned, transitioning, etc. Otherwise people are just disappointed and feel like they’re wasting a trip when they were originally excited to go get ice cream. Just some feedback. I like the interface overall and the coupons are neat. So is the interaction with gps to find the store you’re at automatically.
