How to Cancel Dear Otome #Shall we date?

This probably sounds like a sneaky game dev just writing a fake review, but I really do love it. The stories are great and there are so many characters to choose from who all have their own separate story lines so it’s still original and not repetitive. There are different endings so you actually have to really think about which answers will give you the ending you are going for. Although there are premium moments that are pretty much impossible to get if you don’t want to spend money on it, the other moments that you can get are still plenty satisfying, so you can definitely live without the premium ones if you can’t afford them. And I actually like that you can only read so many parts a day, bc if not I would literally never get off my phone and would finish all of the routes way too fast. I personally think the game devs have a really good app on their hands and should continue the great work!! Y’all are the only ones who can ease the insatiable hopeless romantic side of me!!! Lololol

To start, I should mention what route I chose because it matters to me. I just finished my first route, Randy March’s. Now I won’t say anything about the storyline itself to be careful not to spoil it. It took me a long time to choose between all the amazing characters. It was this way with all, in fact I spent days trying to choose a character in Ninja Shadow. However it seems some descriptions don’t explain much. This can be a set back when it comes to choosing but they have previews for the characters that balance that. The mechanics are easily explained incase you get confused often. While the wait is tricky with the challenges, it’s very rewarding when you finish them. However I must warn you, the last challenge is pretty big so if you aren’t big on waiting, you might get bored. I’m usually patient but I got bored too. BUT the time you spend with the characters makes you attached to them, and no matter how bored you get, you want to see the ending. The happy endings are very rewarding. I’m very happy with this game!

I really love this app. The art and soundtrack for the games are absolutely gorgeous, the interface is clean and intuitive, and the in-game purchases don’t feel too annoying in comparison to many other similar apps. There’s always some event going on that awards you good stuff, and with just a little bit of patience it’s perfectly possible to get the most out of the games without spending real money. As for the stories, they are lighthearted and cute. I haven’t read anything that’s particularly intense or heartbreaking - and that’s fine! This is a casual, feel-good game that is meant to be a fun way to kill some time, and it does that pretty well. Also, the wide variety of characters means there’ll probably be several in every game whose route you’ll be interested in, so you can count on having quite a bit of content to enjoy. Overall, I very much reccommend this app for fans of the genre who are looking for something casual and harmlessly fun.

Now, normally I don’t leave reviews, but after playing these games (most not included in this app package and sadly taken of the App Store) on and off since I was a lonely prepubescent child, I HAD to review. I am sad they took away some of my favorites, but this game package is amazing! The thing that sets the shall we date games apart is that you actually DONT have to pay to play. These games make you wait, and I honestly think it’s what taught me how to be patient, but the results are worth it. You can chose to wait and gain Jems or jades or diamonds or you can buy them, but either option is freely and openly available. No penalty for not buying! On top of that the character are amazing! I love every route I’ve played because they each give you a warm happy feeling inside that makes you want to keep playing. And the clothes rock! The events and Gachas are fun and different! I wish we didn’t have to wait 5 hours for a story ticket, or get 10 tokens in order to transfer that to 1 diamond/jade, and I wish some of the items weren’t so pricey (clothes in game paid not with real money). Each game is unique, characters are different and compelling, and I will keep revisiting and waiting for them to publish more games. I miss being able to play some of their other games, but these games have been a part of my childhood that I will gladly revisit again and again.

A few years back I downloaded quite an unhealthy amount of Shall We Date+ games. My main focuses were Blood and Roses (I picked Daniel) and The wizard one (I forgot how to spell it, I chose Klaus btw ;)) I made it pretty far but then without me picking a new character in Blood and Roses it suddenly switched to Rubert and at that time I didn’t really have the motivation to restart so stopped playing (or reading in this case) But a few months ago, I was thinking about Klaus. I downloaded this app and immediately started with Klaus. Today I finished Klaus’ main story. ToT I loved this story. I wouldn’t pick anyone else (Klaus is too precious) Kinda sad that I didn’t read the Happy Ending but I will one day. Eventually I saw how Daniel’s story ended. :) (I’m most likely going to focus on the Ninja one and the Love Triangle one)
