I’m so happy with this app now. I’ve had a ChromeCast since the beginning, and was pretty disappointed with all the limitations ,inabilities, incompatibilities, bugs, disconnects, resolution quality and how painfully long it would take to connect. I had given up on the ChromeCast and it sat in a drawer for 3 years, replaced by FireSticks & Smart TVs. Recently I bought a new Tv and it had ChromeCast built into it..... it was still rather unimpressive and had some of the same (slightly improved) issues. It had me connecting via Google Home app. Which also fell short, but then I noticed an update on Streaming for ChromeCast app, and gave it a shot...WOW, I could not believe it, finally!! Finally nailed it, totally redesigned the app, and it includes everything that I know it has been capable of all along. Screencast, browser cast, photo roll cast, camera cast, app cast, music cast. Etc. and it all just simply works. Amazing quality and speed, all in one app. So relieved that I can show a video from my iphone on my tv now in seconds rather waiting and hoping it would connect and buffer before everyone in the room lost interest.. And I dug out that old ChromeCast and hooked it back up to the bedroom tv, it is like having a brand new device now. Thank you!!

Not gonna read you the manual or try & convince why you would need a streaming bluetooth device to share your new phone features or media on your TV. We all learned the hard way about going out and purchasing the latest electronic gadgets only to realize we overpaid for a bug filled inferior product that has no use to us or anyone in the following years to come. Well it’s nice to be wrong once in a while & the Chromecast is definitely proving that point to us pessimistic people. Kind of a polite awakening how some things that come in small packages & are affordable from the get go can actually hold value & still be very useful years later to us or a friend who could relive the new gadget experience. It’s a no risk purchase that does everything it says +more. Should be standard everywhere DVI inputs are used. A simple to learn & daily used product children to the elderly can all rely on. Get yourself one or a few as memorable gifts for friends.

This is one of the best apps I have ever used for Chromecast. It is simple to use and very easy to set up. I love the way its designed with a beautiful app interface and useful instructions at every point that tell me exactly what I need to do to cast my videos to my TV screen. Its got a lot of amazing options for casting movies. Cast from browser, camera roll, documents are all supported and work really well with smooth casting and perfect audio and video output. It even lets me enjoy the show in background while I browse on my phone. Its a great application to have specially for the holidays as my entire family is coming over to my place and we can now enjoy watching movies together on the big screen in my living room. I just can't wait to recommend this program to my friends!

Awesome casting app so far. Works flawless and delay is negligible unlike other apps. Never failed since I started using this app a month ago. Other apps just quit from time to time. Finds all the TVs quickly on my network. For some reason I don’t like using the Apple TV, and love chromecast inbuilt to my TVs so this app is a great deal for me. Only one feature I would request from the devs for having the ability to rewind forward on all pages instead of being available on just the current playing video page on the browser, so we can surf for more while watching the video. One more thing, the browser is great too. I never felt I wasn’t on Safari. Good job! This is my first review ever for any app. Also please make one for OSX. Thanks.

When Chromecast was introduced few years ago it took me a while to get it working properly without an app. When the app was initially introduced there were fewer issues but some kinks needed to be worked out. This latest update is amazing in that it practically and properly links your device to your Chromecast tv by itself. It literally took me less than a minute to get it up and running where as in the past it took some time to troubleshoot issues that arose on initial installations. I experienced no frustration with the current app. If you already have the app update it immediately and if you’ve never used it I suggest you download it immediately
