How to Cancel Sunbasket Meal Delivery

We love Sun Basket! We've been ordering 3-4 meals a week for almost a year now and couldn't be happier with this service. We chose Sun Basket because they offer organic ingredients, and none of the other services we explored do. But we've also been thrilled with the huge variety of really creative, delicious meals inspired from cuisine all over the globe, the easy to follow instructions, the convenience of the phone app, and the bonus content and recipes in each week's booklet. We've learned a lot about cooking, have tried things we never otherwise would have, and have enjoyed cooking together regularly. It's also been a huge time saver -- no more deciding what to cook, making shopping lists, and having to grocery shop during our busy work week -- or getting stuck with too much of something that just ends up going bad. There are only two of us, so the portions are perfect. And we're getting a great balance of nutrients & veggies in every meal. We're big meat eaters but have also been trying a lot of the vegetarian options and loving them. There have been a handful of occasions when an ingredient was either missing or past its prime, but they've always been responsive and fast to issue us a generous credit to cover its replacement and make up for the inconvenience. Highly recommend.

On my third week of SunBasket meals and I have to honestly say I have really liked them all. All the food was easy to prepare and the meals looked like the pictures in the “cook booklet”. I’m an experienced and good cook so it’s easy for me, but I talked my novice of a cook husband into preparing one of the meals and he did a great job! I am getting some really interesting ideas on how to enhance my own cooking. Mostly I am choosing the Paleo option and it’s making it easier to keep on track. I wish I could afford to get a basket every week but they do make it easy to skip a week or change your meal options. I love that all their packing is recyclable too. Also enjoying not having to shop or decide what we’re eating for a few nights. Ok - the downside: the first two meals included arugula and baby kale which I despise so I had to sub spinach for the greens. One box had a meal with green beans and one with tomatoes and they were not of the best quality - I would never have chosen them for my family. I emailed one of their customer service representatives- Tianni, and she refunded $10 off that basket. She has been really nice and helpful- something I sincerely appreciate. Definitely recommend!

Sun Basket is by far the best meal plan available. I love how the company takes my feedback into consideration and I can see the changes from my feedback a couple weeks later on the app. The app is extremely user friendly and they make it readily available for you to cancel or skip a week, because they are very confident in their retention rate from week to week. The prices are highly reasonable for organically sourced food. I have been with Sun Basket for over a month and I have not noticed any duplication in the recipes from week to week—that being said, they offer 18 different recipes every week. I have not seen any competitor offer such top quality food, with variety, and seamless organization. Everything about the service of this company exudes excellence. Sunbasket also works quite well on the grocery budget because it has encouraged and taught me to cook. I do not have to over-buy food that I end up throwing away, and by cooking everything stored in my fridge—my family eats out less, reduce food waste, and enjoy family time together. I have already shaved 25% off my food budget.

We were loyal customers of Plated for almost 5 years until they suspended their mail order business in November...my whole family was so disappointed! We took the recommendation from the Plated website to try Sun Basket (after investigating multiple other disappointing options)...I did not expect to like it near as much as Plated, but after 3 shipments we are BLOWN away and had no idea what we were missing. The ‘extras’ are soooo much more...the snacks, breakfast granola offerings, even soup cups are phenomenal...my husband and I crave the burnt almond brittle! My 10 yr old son loves the miso broth cups...I had no idea Sun Basket offered so very much, even beef & poultry options beyond our weekly recipes. And everything is packaged expertly yet simply, down to individual eggs. I see our family being loyal customers for many years to come.

I don’t care how over the top this is, but I love Sun Basket. It has completely changed my life. I don’t have to go to the grocery store as much, I don’t have to worry about whether somethings fits with my diet restrictions, and I don’t have to wonder what am I going to have for dinner! My husband and I actually make it together, allowing us to decompress together without just jumping in front of the TV. They’re easy to make, the directions are simple to follow, AND out of the month of I’ve been ordering (3x a week), there’s only been 1 thing I haven’t cared for! My family loves it and are trying foods they normally wouldn’t, simply because It Is SO good! I don’t have the time nor the energy to make the meals we’ve been getting, and I sure couldn’t afford what the grocery store would charge me for all of it. Every good thing that could be said about Sun Basket, I’m saying! LOVE!
