To cancel Providers subscription on your Mac, do the following:

  1. First open the Mac App Store, then click on your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Click on the "View Information" tab at the top of the window and sign in if asked to do so.
  3. Scroll down on the next page shown to you until you see the "Subscriptions" tab then click on "Manage".

    Great app for a great program

    I’ve recently faced some major life challenges, some of which I conquered and others that admittedly knocked me down and out. I’ve never thought I’d need public assistance, so when life led me down a path from successful self employed business man to homeless with zero income and the hoards of people who always sought to be near me have all but vanished, it left me in a very dark place. I say all that because it helped me to appreciate the help provided by the state, and efforts to provide this help in an easy as possible way with things like this app. Going from homeless and hungry to just homeless, hey make glass is half full! The assistance provided food, which in turn provides an overall content feeling allowing a more peaceful and hopeful mind. The app just made all this that much better, by allowing you to check balance, history or purchases, as well as tips for saving and job opportunities too. It’s map of participating retailers and vendors is invaluable and I’ve never waited more than a few seconds for the app to update its information (in the few instances that it wasn’t already updated when I logged in). This may be the longest review of the app with saying the least about the actual app, but the state and county officials and workers that made this all possible need some kudos from time to time too.     Ease of use and security

    This app is very useful to me. Makes things a lot faster when I need to know my balance. All I have to do is open the app, and my balance is there. No dialing numbers and choosing options or listening to any irrelevant information. Simple and to the point. I have not had to change my password at all. The only reason an app would lock you out , is for security measures, because after multiple tries it thinks you are someone else trying to get into the account . If you have issues logging in , it could be a simple typographical error , such as a wrong letter or number on the keyboard . There is no app or software that will let you use the same password multiple times; that is a security feature . Security features keep our information from being stolen and keep us from being the victim of identity theft or robbery.

    New EBT System...

    I live in Washington state. When I went to check my EBT balance I got this notification: “Washington switched to a new EBT system, and it sometimes prevents EBT from connecting. If it’s not working for you right now please call 888*******. We are working hard to get Fresh EBT back to normal ASAP.” People living in other states may be getting the same or similar statement. I did some investigating. All it meant is that I had to go into the app and create another account all over again. In other words enter your state, your EBT card number, your birthdate, your first and last name. Then it will ask you to create a USER ID and a PASSWORD. Your password will need to contain a minimum certain number of letters, a capital letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a symbol. Once you do that hopefully should be able to get back into your account without any problems. Be sure to write down your user ID and password in a safe place so you won’t forget it. All this just took a couple of minutes and is sure a lot easier and less frustrating than trying to call that toll-free number and entering my EBT 16 digit card number every time I need to check my balance. 😊

    Amazingly Helpful App!

    This App. is really amazing! What can I say it's overly helpful, does as it says plus more, and makes daily life so much easier. I haven't had the constant password change a few others have mentioned. In fact I haven't had to change my password since getting it. Such a useful app I can't say enough about it. As a family on a budget this helps my overall spending to be looked at to see what I must better and what I have used but also left to spend. It has informed me of changes in the past that the local human services office failed to notify me of. I recommend this app!

    Can’t Connect to Portal - UPDATE: FIXED!

    UPDATE: The app is working perfectly now and I’m very happy! It is easy to use and so convenient. Also, I was contacted by the developer to let me know what had caused the problem, which reflects great customer service. I’m updating my review from one star to the five it deserves. Original review: It worked beautifully the first time I used it and I loved it. But ever since then I only get the message “Sorry, unable to connect to your state’s portal. Try again shortly.” I’ve been trying again for over three weeks and it still won’t connect. Too bad. It would be fabulous if it worked!
