AVStreamer - Remote Desktop Reviews

It works like Splashtop without the yearly fee. I recommend it to people all the time, and even though it hasn't been updated in years, it still works great on my 6+.

It's awesome! Does exactly what it says! Well worth three bucks.

I like the fact that we can seamlessly watch videos and hear audio from this vnc app but it would be much better if we can do this with an app with a nicer looking interface and better controls.

I have been struggling with finding a good, inexpensive yet fast Remote Desktop solution. I have tried apple's built-in VNC server with ssh tunneling and VNC client, and other products that claim to offer better solutions but this is by far the best one.

Over 3G the performance is top notch, however disconnects are frequent. I have found to prevent disconnects to creat a VPN to my Mac using Mountain Lion Server, and then to point this app to the LAN ip of my computer and viola, it works beautifully.

I highly recommend this solution.

I think this is much better than air video even only considering video streaming function. much faster and much better at showing subtitle.
In addition it integrates remote desktop fuction with it. I think its remote desktop performance is as good as that of splashtop. All in all AVStreamer is one of the best apps on the market now. I can strongly recommend this to anyone.

Please add file sharing between iphone and computer... That's the only thing missing, everything else is perfect!!

발견한 버그는 PC이름이 너무 길면 접속이 안됩니다... 이거때문에 1시간동안 해맸습니다...

개선해야할점..

원격시 많이 불편합니다.. 기능면에서는 crazyremote에 훨씬 못미칩니다.. 단 최적화면에서는 더 잘된듯 싶구요..

동영상 재생에는 속도를 올리면 음정 보정을 전혀 하지 않는... 테입 빨리 돌리는 소리만 들립니다.. 필요한 기능인데 있으나 마나한 기능..;;
그리고 avi,mkv 파일은 잘 재생이 되는데 mp4파일은 재생이 안됩니다.. 그냥 검은화면에서 멈추고 시간도 안갑니다..
이건 필히 수정해야 할거 같습니다..

아직 초판이라 점점 개선해 나갈거라 생각합니다..

The remote access to the desktop works just fine, but i cannot play a single video in the avatreamer player. Folders and files are there, but when trying to watch something a get a "playback failed" message and that's it.
Very disapointed.
If someone figures out how to make this work, please let me know.

Its really perfect app in appstore.

Their web site is expired so I can't download the PC server.
