I've used a few of Smule's apps and the song always has sounded like the song they give you as your free starter song. Even the piano one with my extremely subpar playing you could tell what it was but AutoRap it sounded like just some weird back beat not the song at all. It also doesn't provide lyrics like their song app, so it's pretty useless for rapping popular music unless you know it by heart and don't need the matching music. But if you are getting this to create your own raps it may work a lot better for you.

It used to work fine but now the new play thing has completely ruined the entire app they have lost so many users because it doesn't work anymore you go on you try to pick one of their songs and it says would you like to use one of your plays so you say yes and then it asks you again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and it does not ever let you do anything anymore and it is stupid it doesn't work it you won't let you make any raps I don't know what smule did to it but it doesn't work and there are a lot of ads that are stupid and altogether this is one of the worst that I've ever used a used to be really fun and I used to use it and play it with my friends and it was really fun and I would give it like a four star review but now it just flat out doesn't work anymore.

AutoRap has no beats. AutoRap is called auto-rap but there are no rap beats to be found. It’s just top 40 pop music from the past 5 years. The only rapper on this entire app is Nicki Minaj. They didn’t even try. If you’ve ever had a favorite rapper, their beats aren’t here. There is nothing. I was okay with app not being programmed well enough to use the actual apple keyboard, or the interface that looks and functions about as well as the subjects of Picasso’s paintings. But they couldn’t have gone through the PAINSTAKING work of going to the HIP-HOP section of iTunes to gather(steal without permission) the beats for their RAP-along app. I don’t know how people make money off of garbage like this, but I hope they are proud of themselves. It truly fascinates me that someone can make something as hilariously awful as this, then go home to their family and believe they’ve done anything more than waste peoples’ time.

There's no point in buying it and playing on AutoRap I mean like at first it was okay 😌 but know it's horrible I mean if you spend hours and hours playing it that's just a waste of your parents phone 📱 bill money especially if your a child I mean if your playing a another game and the ad for this comes up it's probably a fake person in the ad I mean no affense but the ad really got me really convinced at first but I guess if the girl in the ad for this game really liked it either she has problems or the game was fun for her in some kind of stupid way I mean like when the game actually was fun I probably would have my parents spend $1,590 for some of there phone bill and that's just a waste of money 💰 especially on this type of app you probably should spend your time on a better game like subway surfers

I tried to create an account, well a different account because my old one messed up but, I couldn’t do it because every time I tried it would go back to “type in your email.” I kept on trying to put it in but all it would say was “ Is this your account?” I pressed create new account. The game told me to put in my email again ( this happened several times) and I did. Then it showed me (again) my old account. Notice that my old account had messed up. Then for some random reason it had glitched. Then it went to some random persons account. I didn’t even know them. So if YOU could update or fix the game I might write another review and give it a five or four star rating. Now I will only do that if it works. And yes before you asked it was just downloaded so it had already updated itself.

Well, where do I begin?
First of all, auto rap isn't a "real" thing. I say this because you either need to know the lyrics to whatever song OR you actually need to know how to rap.
Secondly the advertisements cringe worthy, awkward advertisements and I'm guessing cause the person displaying the advertisement using a line that is not rap. I'm not even including the fact that it's always over the beat for 50 Cents "In da Club."
It's almost feels like it's on the border line of false advertisement. I have used other apps by this company, and wouldn't ever give in to applying for a subscription. Side note for anyone reading, if you do end up with a subscription it's not difficult at all to cancel it and a 30 second google search could tell you how to do so.

Thanks for giving us the option to send in songs, but can you please let us do that with our phones. I tried doing it on my computer, but it took a lot of work and your website kept saying something went wrong and try again. It’d literally be so much easier just to send in an audio file from my phone into AutoRap or website.

Can you also give us the option to search for songs? It’s hard to find a specific song when you can’t search. Even just alphabetic order would be helpful.

So, usually apps would give you at least 10 or 5 songs so that people can try it out. But AutoRap only has 2 free songs. I believe that you need to add more so people can test it out and try to see if they like it. I know your trying to get people to but it but give them some more choices. Overall . Liked it.👍

I work with children who use communication devices and who are struggling beginning writers. When students complete a short writing project such as a list poem, we celebrate their writing by reading what they wrote into this app. It is a total success! The next time we write they work even harder because they know they will get to rap their poem Parents and teachers also love it. And we can even send home an audio file. Thanks this app for encouraging a generation of writers!

My son downloaded this thinking it was free (he says it was offered as free--Im sure the fee was in fine print which no kid reads, they know this). So then my cc was charged (no free trial) $7.99 monthly...because of apple family account issues, no email receipts were received so this got charged for many months before it was noticed... device is no longer even active. No easy way to stop the charge without spending time (30 minutes and counting) online with apple support. One quick click to get AutoRap , but not nearly as easy to stop getting charged for something he used once, thought was free, and doesn't even have anymore.

I have been playing this game for around 4 years. I am pretty dedicated to it. I have paid for lots of 1 month VIP because this game is so enjoyable. Don’t listen to to the bad reviews. Those people are complaining because they either don’t know how to use AutoRap or they just want free content.

I have made over 500 raps using AutoRap and they are catchy and fun to listen to. Very great app and every moment has been awesome!!

AutoRap has been fun with my cousins it’s a lot fun you can make up some stupid funny raps until I started getting challenges from random people I didn’t think anything would be wrong but then I got a challenge that kind of scared me they didn’t say anything I didn’t even listen but you got me thinking I’m excepting requests from random people I know I could have not posted some but this is a kids app or adults it’s just very inappropriate to kids 17 and Younger also some of the songs are very inappropriate maybe this isn’t an app for kids too but still if there’s anyway you can fix this please fix it

Hey yo what’s going on everybody? I’ve been using AutoRap for 5 years and I must say that’s it’s the best. I’ve been laying down tracks for half a decade and it never gets old. Everything about it is flipping awesome! I even get to upload my joints to my social media profile; that’s how epic it is. So for those of you out there who want to drop some phat beats, then this is AutoRap for you. Word!

I tried AutoRap out a long time ago and made some stupid, cringy stuff, and couldn't figure out how to delete it. I ended up deleting AutoRap , unsure whether or not my "raps" were deleted with it.
I came back today with the intent to finally delete those raps from years ago. I had to download an older version of AutoRap because of my old phone. As soon as I opened AutoRap , however, it had a pop up that told me to update AutoRap . I couldn't skip it or anything, and I certainly can't update AutoRap , so there was nothing I could do. Do they really need IOS 8.0 for "bug fixes?" It's completely stupid.

This is probably the worst app I have ever gotten. First just don't get ANY subscriptions because it's almost impossible to cancel it. They don't even tell you how to cancel them so I deleted AutoRap and after a few weeks I got a new iTunes card and it took all my money without me even having the application installed!!!! And it says auto rap but all it does is take your voice and make you talk into your mic and then take your sentence and make you listen to an auto tuned stuttering version of you with a terrible instrumental remake of crappy songs.

I have slot of hope from AutoRap. I've been playing with it and it's extremely fun. Although there could be more choices than two to choose from to wrap with without paying. I believe more you use it the more your going to want to use other background music over all I thank its fun

Opened AutoRap thinking I could make a quick little thing here and there and they want you to sign up.
...sign up for WHAT?! I seriously hate having to "sign up" for things it's just more crap in my inbox. I KNOW I KNOW... it lets you stay in the loop/keep AutoRap up front and center and in your mind so you use it (from a marketing point) but as soon as I saw sign up, with no way to skip it, I deleted it. Anyway... if you enjoy AutoRap keep using it.. I'll avoid having to sign up when I can.

AutoRap is great! The auto tune is spot on and the mixing makes your voice go well to the music, until you try to pick more music choices. There are only 3 FREE songs!!?😡 The weekly payment is so over done. No one likes AutoRap anymore because it turned into trash!!! Make more songs free please!!!!!! For the future Smule

Redundant to say but Smule used to be good. You could throw some phrases, single words or sounds at it and itd make it crazy. It was a lot of fun. For years now it’s been glitchy and bland. If I was it’s designer, I’d be super crazy proud of what it used to be, but now I’d take a look at that rating, wonder why it was so low and fix the problem... For instance, redo it like it was in year two!!!! Please!!!
Also, you used to have 50 cent buys and it was a lot easier on those of us who only smule once in awhile.

Thanks for making this game :-) there are some issues but overall it’s a pretty good game. Issue number one is I was playing this for weeks but you can’t really do anything unless you buy stuff also after a long time and playing it it’s stopped having sound but at first when I played it it was an amazing game

Completly worthless app not woth your money or your time for starters they have gon so low to force 5 year old kids to be cringe on ther adds second ther is no rap what so ever unless you know how to rap i dont think they know the meaning of rap

And also whas with all tge fake revews i mean evreone above 4 stars is likly fake i mean have u noticed ther all below one paragraph they have no details they are all happy and say nothing ir almost nothing about issues*or that was untill pepole started pointing it out than sudenly they did* its all bull AutoRap is a money hungry wast if time and also i didnt sighn up for annything and it auto sighned me up for a vip witch costs 7.99 a month this went on for around a year before i noticed it i could report this as a federal offence u know
