My friend transferred $400 to my account I go to do an instant transfer to my personal checking account and it will not go through. And oh how convenient no customer service support to call because apparently they work bankers hours. How in the world are you going to be a 24/7 cash application and not have any sort of online tech support or offer any live tech-support?? This is literally an emergency situation where I needed to borrow the funds which I did.....I now have my funds sitting in this stupid account which I am unable to touch or have access to and will have no way to contact their customer service until Monday morning it is currently Friday 7:30 PM. I am beyond furious. I knew I should’ve gone with my gut and used the other three different cash apps I have on my phone which worked beautifully and have never had an issue with. I only last minute decided to use this one for the first time tonight never thinking for a second that I would not be able to access my funds. USER BEWARE PLEASE don’t use this stupid application....no tech-support after 4 PM M-F.

Pros — I love Venmo! I like it over any other app or service that deals with money transfer/receiving/spending. It’s so easy to use and it makes for easy, quick transfers to your bank/from your bank. The little quarks are cute as well... (adding your Bitmoji and using the emojis) to remind people what you’ve paid for, but it keeps things private and safe enough that I use it for everything! It works for so many occasions. For example, I’m the MOH at my best friends wedding coming up, and being able to divvy payments up saves me SO much stress and hassle versus collecting checks, cash, etc from each girl in the bridal party for pretty much everything! Cons — With my experience so far, the one thing I don’t like is when you need to transfer a Venmo payment directly into your account in an emergency situation (so you can’t choose to have it transferred w/o a fee),so Venmo takes out 25¢ from your payment from whoever. It’s not THAT big of a deal, but I think lowering that deductible could be more appealing. Just a suggestion!!

With fast moving lives and technology only growing, it’s about time money catches up. Venmo makes it fun easy to send, receive, and request money from your friends and family. If you’re a secluded person or like some privacy then just make your transactions private so no one can see them. The only person that sees a private transaction is you and the person you are sending, requesting, or receiving money from. Your received money is then stored in your own secure account until you decide to transfer it to your bank. My transfers usually take about and hour to a day. The more you use the app the better and faster it gets. If your 18 and can’t wait to transfer your money you can sign up for the Venmo card that connects to your Venmo secure account balance. That way you don’t have to wait. Those cards come in a variety of colors, so there is one for everyone. If you haven’t tried Venmo already I highly suggest you give it a go. You don’t know what you’re missing out on.
Have a Problem with Venmo? Report Issue
Why should I report an Issue with Venmo?
- Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of Venmo to your problem using the strength of crowds.
- We have developed a system that will try to get in touch with a company once an issue is reported and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen.
- Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.
- If you are a Venmo customer and are running into a problem, Justuseapp might not be the fastest and most effective way for you to solve the problem but at least you can warn others off using Venmo.
