Apps works as expected. Sure there’s a more efficient way to watch their library if you go to a laptop browser but for using a phone, having SwankMediaPlayer open up the link works fine. Only complaint is for SwankMediaPlayer since it is a media player should have an airplay or cast option.

SwankMediaPlayer and just SWANK altogether have given me too many headaches. First, in order to open the link to the movie from my school, I needed to download chrome which ran in the background all night and destroyed the accuracy of my screen time report. Then, in order to actually watch the movie, I needed to download this awful app! It won’t split screen on my iPad, and the captions are way too small to read!

If I could, I would give this platform zero stars! Literally does not work. It can’t seem to stream one movie. The only way people would use this is if they had to (which I did have to for class). How can this be a movie streaming platform if it cannot stream just ONE movie?

Didn’t even work half the time. And when it did work, it would buffer and stop within a minute and would be a never ending process.

Horrible app don’t use

I don't understand the point of SwankMediaPlayer when you could just make all the movies on a website. I, though, have not had a problem with SwankMediaPlayer so far, and it does everything I would expect it to do.

I could only get as far as clicking on the movie I want on the website and then it would take my back to SwankMediaPlayer Store. When I clicked open app it took me too SwankMediaPlayer where it said find a movie on your provider. This cycle keeps continuing. Idk maybe this idea only works on the computer?

SwankMediaPlayer is required to play movies for our cal state campus. ad is forced to be watched before you can play a movie. It is just one but it froze twice thus i had to watch 3 ads in total. Movies are current but not current enough. People will understand once they see the setlist. Oh and player still lags a bit. I double tapped to the other app and came back to this one and it had me start again. Needs updates on some bugs

SwankMediaPlayer is constantly buffering and will not show progress if paused. Were it not for the requirement to use SwankMediaPlayer for class I would delete it immediately. I will be forwarding further comments to my instructor about the shortcomings of SwankMediaPlayer and will be deleting it as soon as my coursework is complete.

I do not recommend this to anyone and if there is a substitute, I would surely use it.

Like the reviewer from March, I had no sound In SwankMediaPlayer, but I discovered that SwankMediaPlayer is observing the external switch, which it shouldn't.

Also movies only play landscape.

Overall an easy to use app with our campus. Just launched this product and haven’t ran into any snags. I’m even using an older iPhone and runs perfectly fine.

I don’t usually write reviews, but SwankMediaPlayer made me upset. I needed to watch something for a class but the player just didn’t work I only got subtitles against a black screen. As it’s only function is to be a media player, the fact that it doesn’t play media is really upsetting.
Don’t waste your time downloading, it doesn’t work.

Only way to watch movies through school and it doesn’t buffer so times out constantly. Not even possibly to watch too disruptive starting and stopping. Can’t believe this thing even exists and nothing has been done to fix it

Something in the last update messed up the sound for the media player. Now, after you watch for a few minutes, the sound track gets off from the movie.

SwankMediaPlayer is one of the most frustrating ever! It crashes all the time and makes me try to open it 3 or 4 times before it works! I would stop using it, except it’s the only one used by my school to show movies.. fix please!

SwankMediaPlayer buffers so much that it’s impossible to watch content on it. The singular purpose of SwankMediaPlayer is to stream content and it fails at doing its one job. SwankMediaPlayer needs fixing so it can properly perform the one thing it’s supposed to do.

SwankMediaPlayer is trash. Stupid to use and it’s ridiculous that you would need to download an app to play a video that can just be run in browser. This is 2018 guys, get with it.

Crashes or doesn't load 90% of the time. Then every time it loads after a crash, it plays an ad. I have more watch time with ads than I do with actual movies.

SwankMediaPlayer opens and says to “visit your streaming website to play a title” so I do, then my phone sends me to this page on my phone, and I click “open” SwankMediaPlayer and am greeted with the same message. Circular hell.

SwankMediaPlayer can only be used by going to your streaming site on a browser. Why not put this directly into SwankMediaPlayer itself? The quality of the movies while they stream are pretty horrible for mobile devices. The buffering rate for these movies is awful as well. It would take the patience of an old grandma to get through a whole movie.

Doesn’t fit on screen of XR. Only watching movie through a box the size of an iPhone 5. Makes watching enjoyable movies... unenjoyable.
