MailShot Pro- Group Email Reviews

Started using MailShotProGroupEmail to manage my client list. Then recommended to wife to install it on her pad to manage golf women’s club members, since she wants the list readily available when she is at the club, MailShotProGroupEmail was added to her iphone as well. We then noticed the lists between the two devices are not in sync. After emailing the support, Peter promptly provided suggestions for us to try, with Peter’s help, we eventually fixed the problem, now the two devices are perfectly in sync.
It is a hit and miss to get good software support even for pricy ones.
MailShotProGroupEmail is simple and easy to use, for a price of a cup of coffee, you can’t go wrong!
Suggestion for improvement- a simply duplication check will make it even a better app.

I used Mailshot every since I got my first Apple product, iPhone 4. I’ve since updated to Pro version. I like how a can duplicate or copy a group, check and uncheck and delete addressees within my group. Particularly I like taking two column of name and email in Numbers and pasting in Import into Mailshot, and immediately create a group. In Numbers I write a formulas that inserts a “<“ at the beginning of an email address and “>” at the end. With the contacts name in the first column and the addresses formula in the second column, I simply import and manually paste. This creates is one paste my whole list. Easy as pie. The formulas is created once and is copied down in Numbers. Sweet!

I’m amazed at your expertise and willingness to spend time, even on Saturday, to help fix this. I love the configuration if your App. and, having previously used another, find it infinitely superior. The only reason I gave three stars is because this is the seemingly the only app to use with an iPad for email groups, which stinks that Apple won’t do better than that so you can make groups in your email and not have to use a third party app to do this. Which doesn’t work so well. Setting it up was easy enough, making groups and such. And maybe the first couple of emails I sent out to my group went out quickly, but now it takes two weeks, sometimes longer. I sent out an email that was urgent on Thanksgiving and it didn’t reach people until at least two weeks later.

This is unacceptable as I paid for the Mail Shots Pro...

To all and anyone who is thinking about using MailShot Pro, I can speak from experience that Peter has consistently been almost like a personal guide for me over several years.

He responds to your inquiries like no one else and you get him and not a technical call center. I am sold on this program as it serves my needs where others have failed and the support that you get is incomparable.

Rest assured that endorsements like mine are probably quite common so feel free to use this great service...you will not be disappointed.

The latest mailshot pro is absolutely terrific. Peter added the ability to sort by first name/ last name which is the way I keep my names in the Apple Address book. Of the many utilities I have downloaded, mailshot pro is by far the most useful one. In addition writing any problems to Peter, one always gets a response that he will look into it and the support is absolutely tops.

I was very worried when I heard that MailShotProGroupEmail no longer could select a group mail program as I send out a group of about 80 emails.

The two ways to work around the IOS9 change are excellent. If I am composing an email to a group, I do it in MailShot, if I am forwarding an email, I copy the group list from mailshot onto the clipboard and and paste it into the blind carbon copy line in mail. A little extra work but hopefully Apple will shape up and allow MailShotProGroupEmail to work as previously.

I'm not writing because I have a problem with MailShot Pro......on the contrary people who do good work don't get complimented enough so I take this opportunity to thank Mail Shot Pro. MailShotProGroupEmail makes my email group mailing so much easier and efficient. I could not do without it. Robust, well organized, yet easy to use.......when it comes to group contacts MailShotProGroupEmail is an Outlook killer. It is the best email application of this type by far and cheap at twice the price.

Apple Mail is terrible for sending emails to groups. I can’t figure out why they have never addressed this—I can’t be the only one to have struggled with this, until I discovered MailShotProGroupEmail. Makes it easy to import contacts from my contact list and into a group. Such a time saver! Have not had any problems in the several months I’ve been using it. Thanks!

I have been using MailShot Pro for several years, and I love it. I started on the free MailShot app. and used it for a bit, but my need for lists got greater and the groups got larger, so I switched to the Pro version. Apple's IOS updates haven't always been the friendliest changes for MailShotProGroupEmail, but the developer(s) keep finding workarounds for Apple's tendency to upset the apple cart of already existing apps' functioning. Very handy app and I highly recommend it. Great support, too.

I used MailShot Pro in the past on a second generation ipad and was very pleased with it. When a tried to load it on my sixth generation it would not restore. Apple appeared to be charging me again. I contacted the program developer and he was very prompt and helpful. The program is loaded and working correctly. I highly recommend it! I was “disgustedformermailshotuser”. Now I am “verysatisfiedmailshotuser”.

MailShotProGroupEmail is perfect for group emails. I run a business that I email clients when there is availability and if there is an issue with MailShotProGroupEmail I lose money . I have used several other similar apps with huge disappointment. MailShotProGroupEmail on the other hand works seamlessly and I should also add customer support is real and available!!!! I had a question and they got back to me the same day and answered what I needed .

I've used this application for many years! Trust me that it's awesome. I've created numerous group emails to send to special friends who fall into one category or another. It's easy to build your groups and it's easy to update your groups. The technical support is really second-to-none. I did research for a long time before purchasing this application, so I know what I'm talking about herein.

Heard of MailShotProGroupEmail just yesterday. I wanted to be able to send emails and files to my Google Groups from my iPhone. My larger Groups number up to 200 so involves working with a lot of addresses. I read this inexpensive app should really help and it did. The support was great. I sent a question email and got the answer within a few hours. I am pleased with Pro MailShot

MailShotProGroupEmail is great for sending emails to several groups! It works sending several email recipients. Name the the group by attaching emails to the named list you create.
The price for it is very affordable for home use with friends up to many grouping persons for contacting anyone in groups.
I have been looking for an app like this for months and this is for sending several accounts!!!!

First of all, the developer is very responsive. Write him an email and he responds quickly. Provide him suggestions and he will follow through and even contact you after he implements the enhancement or bug fix.

Refined and streamlined existing functionality, e.g. selecting contacts for a distribution list. Very stable update as expected from this developer.

MailShotProGroupEmail works great for communicating with a group. I use it for a golf league and it works very well. Peter the developer gets back to you immediately if you have a question or a problem. Both times i reached out to him his quick answer solved my problem. I would recommend MailShotProGroupEmail very highly

MailShot Pro is terrific. When Apple changed it’s way to do groups it put me in a quandary ! I had to get a message to my Executive Committee the only way I could do it was contacting everyone individually. MailShot Pro solved that problem and I have been using it ever since when I have to e-mail a group on a regular basis. I have had this program for several years.

Overall I like MailShotProGroupEmail it's great when you update something in your contacts the next time you going to MailShotProGroupEmail and you tap on my name it gives you the option to update me more information that's a plus looking forward to the changes for iOS 10 as well.

First, be sure to take a few minutes to read the directions, for it has a couple of very minor quirks, easily overcome however.

But ... when you enter the Group correctly, it really does work nicely. VERY nicely in fact.

And, technical support is all over it, and will answer your questions very promptly.

If you need a work-around for your e-mail from an iPhone or iPad, this is one that will get the job done for you.

And, spend the money to buy the Pro version. The Free version is so limited, you'll be frustrated. Pro lets MailShotProGroupEmail do what it is really designed to do.

I have been using MailShotProGroupEmail and TextShot Pro for several years and find them both to be extremely intuitive. I use these apps for many things (i.e. communicating efficiently with church members, team members at work, etc.)...

MailShotProGroupEmail has made sending email to a large number of folks on Apple devices a possibility that I have not found elsewhere. And I tried several before settling here.

Love Mailshot. After a couple years I did something to my settings that stopped it from working right. After many emails back and forth we got it fixed. So happy. Thanks.

I was having a problem having to change email every time I send Group.
Now probably solved and works perfectly.
