It's a bit funky in its user interface but there is a tutorial. One or two times through and you will get the hang of the swipes. It beams most media to my Roku and LG TV, LG Blueray. It can save video locally or jus beam from links or even your Plex web site. Very happy with BelkinMediaPlay and glad Belkin hasn't yet gotten to the 3.5 update of Twonky which is a disaster.

I installed the Twonky channel on my Roku, then went in search of an iPad app that would work with it...apparently this is the only one left, but it doesn't matter, because it works.
Just use the browser to navigate to one of your favorite video sites, and beam ON!

It would not allow me to give it Zero Stars! (That's why I had to give it one star) This replaced Twonky Beam which I never had any issues with... BelkinMediaPlay crashes / closes each and every time I try to open it. Needs an update or spmething. I miss my Twonky Beam which I was able to beam You Tube videos directly to my U-verse enabled TV. Why this and why can't I reinstall Twonky Beam until these issues have been resolved? Like I said, "Piece of crap" app!

It worked well until I updated my iphone's OS to version 10 (and newer updates). Another problem: in the "settings", option "report problem" no longer takes you to the webpage where you report whatever problem you may have with BelkinMediaPlay ! I wonder if they still provides support?

I've been using BelkinMediaPlay for some time now. I used to have very little problems until recently. BelkinMediaPlay does not detect my roku player unless I unplug it and plug it in again. This has become very tedious. I do not think it is my network or roku player because I have the roku remote app and connects to my roku device without any problems. Pls fix soon!

I've been using BelkinMediaPlay for a few months now with no problems, but over the last two days it intermittently stops beaming after a couple of minutes. I hope you guys get this fixed as it is becoming an annoyance.

It does not detect my Roku. In settings, there is no way to manually search and set it up. The "beam" option only appears for the in-app links. I could not get it to appear on the site I wanted to beam from. Though I have no idea if the "beam" would even work, since it had nowhere to beam to. I tried going to help, but it said I had no permission to access that.

Using the Twonky channel on Roku, BelkinMediaPlay will only load and display one photo from iPhone camera roll. Attempts to display a 2nd photo crash to the Roku Home screen. To display another photo you must close the Mediaplay app, restart it, and then pick another photo to display. Each such app session is good for one & only one photo.

Wondered why Twonky app was removed from App Store but pleased to find it's just rebranded as Belkin.
If you've got Twonky on your home media server BelkinMediaPlay is really good for streaming all your content.

This would be my go to app for watching videos if it would support the pogoplug website. Other than not being able to watch my personal video collection, it kinda of does what it says.

A couple of us wasted an hour trying to get BelkinMediaPlay to work from the iPad to the Roku player. We never succeeded. I guess you have to be a hard-core tech-head to work an app like this. We couldn't even find a tutorial. So now you know, you've been warned.

I searched twonky bc it was no longer working. The originally twonky is not available and this is the replacement. It allows you to open webpages but DO NOT beam it. It's no different than the Internet so don't bother downloading it. If you're expecting an app as cool as twonky you'll be highly disappointed!

BelkinMediaPlay works sometimes. Is not very consistent. Very frustrating, especially when this is the only app in BelkinMediaPlay store that works with Twonky. BelkinMediaPlay has not been updated since October 2013. Is anyone even working on it? Are any updates in the works?

Like the regular Twonky this has now failed. Fails to detect Roku a lot. No Beam button. Often the beam button just disappears. Stops playing after minute or two. No idea why version after version fails like this?
